nyc: crosby street hotel

I just got back from a fabulous trip to New York City.
We stayed in a great hotel, had incredible meals and shopped til we dropped.
Did the shopping give it away? Yes, this was a girls trip.

POST 1:
The Crosby Street Hotel
What a treat – tucked down a quiet cobblestone street in the heart of SoHo.

Simple and warm wood furniture and floors fill the lobby.
But the great textiles and art is what makes it stand out.

This room is so fabulous with its’ rich raspberry walls.
The furnishings, art and lighting are just the right interesting mix of contemporary and classic.

The Sculpture Garden.
A lovely space open all day from morning coffee to afternoon tea
to evening cocktails under the twinkle lights.

All 86 rooms are decorated differently.
High floor to ceiling windows that pivot open.  A window seat to take in the view.

Class marble bathrooms with a contemporary twist including a little neon lucite stool.

    • I found them on various websites. I only had my iPhone with me – those photos don’t do it justice : )

Wait a minute. For a second, when I saw the pictures, I thought you had photographed my house.
