nyc: warm, erica tanov, no. 6 + j.crew

Last of my New York City trip,  but not least…
POST 3: Shopping
There are so many great unique shops and boutiques, here are a few of our faves.
Click on shop name to link.

We began our jaunt around town with a quest for lunch.
We saw the sign for Warm, hmm we thought, a cool bakery?
It turned out to be a lovely boutique inspired by the warmth of people, places and objects.
Check out the beautiful tag on this child’s top.
Even though we didn’t make a large purchase, the kind salesperson gave us one of their
cotton bags adorned with a little knit dangle.  It turned into my city weekend tote.

Beautifully designed and well made clothing, jewelry, paper items and much more.
I was inspired by all of the vintage and whimsical decor.
Sweet little packs of sequins.

Mini sequin embellished banners.
NO. 6
This great spot in Little Italy carries wonderful handmade shoes.
When they don’t have your size, they simply tell you they can make them within a few weeks.
My purchase, the Crossover Clog in black. Comfortable as ever.

You ask why, since every city has one?
Check out the glove wall at their newly renovated 5th Avenue store.

Susanna and I enjoying our time in NYC.
