Stacked and Stylish: A cozy Cleveland accepts its fate!
Let’s log in some more hours at home by embracing the elements organically – invite them inside.
It gives a sleek new meaning to wood shelving.
I fell deep in Jungle Love when asked to create a tablescape for the
Ohio Design Center’s second annual Entertaining by Design benefit (for North Union Farmers Market).
Fittingly local interior designers are given carte blanche to create thematic tabletops
for the public to be inspired by.
As a nod to the Lion King’s 20th anniversary –
The Lion Eats Tonight is a room created to curl up and eat in…
fluffy furs, a plethora of oversized plantings, jumbo marshmallows, a cozy campfire,
all coupled with the rich accessories of the Baker Showroom.
My table, layered in many raw materials was a little outside the box
and was awarded by the judges as Best Interpretation of Chosen Theme.
As one of 3 winners I was invited to present my jungle tablescape on
‘Kickin’ it with Kenny’ on Fox 8 in Cleveland.

I spent last weekend in New York City and left very inspired.
We spent the days wandering around the city. Ok, shopping around the city.
I discovered a fabulous store in Soho called Purl Soho.
I love to sew, but not in the conventional way. I spend as much time sewing paper and sequins together as I do fabrics.
This small shop of beautiful yarns and fabrics was filled with inspiring projects that you can MAKE.
I wanted to BUY all of them!
Such a lovely advent calendar.
